Post (eventual) boot all connections/programs seem to work fine. BootlogXP shows too many applications taking a long time to load to be useful (to me). repeated shutdown of all Routers and computers after each step and reboot before testing changes made. Run ipconfig /flushdns and netsh winsock reset.
HIRO WIRELESS ADAPTER SLOW DRIVER
My PC sits less than 3 meters away from the router and when I connect the adapter on my laptop it goes to 90 Mbps without any driver install. Firmware Version: My brand new adapter doesn't go faster than 40 Mbps on my 240Mbps 5ghz internet. Plugged in the wireless adapters to a different USB 3 port on each computer. Slow speed on AC600 Nano Wireless Adapter. I use WinPatrol to delay some start up programs post boot. Checked that the wireless adapters are all plugged into the USB 3 ports.

I’m using ZoneAlarm Free, COMODO BOClean, and Avast! with typical settings. The Dell wireless WLAN tray service is set to Automatic (as are Automatic Updates, COM+ Event System, Computer Browser, Cryptographic Services, DCOM Server Process Launcher, DHCP Client, DNS Client, Network Connections, Network Location Awareness, Remote Access Connection Manager, Remote Procedure Call, Server, SSDP Discovery Service, Telephony, Terminal Services, and Workstation, among others). I have uninstalled, rebooted, and reinstalled the wireless adapter.īroadcom wireless manager loads post boot.
HIRO WIRELESS ADAPTER SLOW DRIVERS
I have reinstalled the drivers for both adapters. Nothing shows as a problem in Device Manager. Both adapters have activated: Client for MS networks, File and printer sharing, NWLink NetBIOS, NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS compatible transport protocol, and Internet protocol (TCP/IP). This issue is independent of whether or not the Broadcom NetXtreme 57xx gigabit controller network adapter is enabled at boot. However, if I boot with the wireless adapter enabled, once past wgalogon, the desktop starts to load – some icons in the task bar, but the quick launch area shaded dark blue and a blank desktop screen – but it freezes at that point for two to three minutes before completing the startup. The projectors don't output enough electricity for the display adapters, so they're all connected to an 'external power supply' (Apple power adapter 12W). This could be good to know: - I'v tried with different laptops, but they all had the same slow connection.

If I boot my Dell D830, XP SP3 PC without the Dell wireless 1490 dual band WLAN minicard network adapter enabled, it boots normally – at least with only the “executing wgalogon” wait. After that I don't touch laptop until it's connected to the projector.
